A photographer from Arlington, Texas, Sara Easter, has been documenting the day-to-day life of her three sons aged 4, 7 and 9.
“We never match, our house is usually somewhat of a disaster zone,” Easter told POPSUGAR. “There is almost always some level of chaos happening.”
“I want to look back in 20 years and remember what my boys look like with their Saturday morning bed head, after a long day of adventures outside, or in those precious seconds when they are genuinely being nice to each other.”
“I want them to have photos that reflect their childhood, not just bring back memories of the ‘picture shirt’ I made them put on and how they had to actually fix their hair that day,” Easter said.
“It’s so easy to get caught up in cute Pinterest ideas and trends in family photography, but I really want the photographs I give my boys to be timeless. I want them to be a reflection of how I view them, all the little details and ever-changing quirks that I love about them and I think are worth remembering.”
